Randall Prusacki

Randall Prusacki, 53, of Du Quoin, passed away at 2:20 a.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2001 at his home.
Randall was a postal clerk for the U.S. Postal Service. 
He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin. He was a member and past commander of Du Quoin VFW Post 513 and a member of American Legion Roy Mitchell Post of Du Quoin, Du Quoin Eagles Lodge and the APWU. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart for combat injuries.
He was born January 10, 1948 at Centralia, Ill. the son of Ralph and Dorothy (Liszewski) Prusacki. 
He married Cyrilla S. Miller on June 22, 1979 at the Sacred Heart Church in Du Quoin and she survives.
He is survived by his wife of Du Quoin, two daughters Renee Annette  Prusacki and Dana Lynn Prusacki, both of Du Quoin; son Marc Thomas Prusacki of Du Quoin, two brothers Joseph Prusacki and wife Carla of Sterling, VA, Karl Prusacki of Du Quoin; two sisters, Joan Guciardo and husband Jack of Belleville, and Mary Lynn Szperra and husband Jim of Du Bois; two nieces--Elizabeth Szperra and  Rachael Harsy; nephew Josh Harsy; mother and father-in-law Cyril and Irene Miller of Pinckneyville; two sisters-in-law Rita Harsy and husband Jerry of Du Quoin and Allicia Miller of Pinckneyville; godchildren Laura Ryterski and Kendra Carter, aunts, uncles & cousins. 
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2001 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin with Msgr. Harry Jerome officiating. Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin. The Rosary was prayed at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Interment was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Du Quoin.
Friends may make memorials to a scholarship fund for the Randall Prusacki children at the Fifth/Third Bank in Du Quoin or they will be accepted at the funeral home, or to Masses.
The Du Quoin VFW Post 513 honored him with graveside military rites.
